A Maiko is an apprentice Geisha. The Kyoto Maiko dinner allows you to participate in an authentic experience of the traditional Maiko dances and traditional Japanese games played together with the Maiko.
Be the envy of your friends as you take the opportunity to pose with the Maiko for a much sought-after commemorative photo. You will relish the experience of Japanese culture and cuisine.

Maiko Dinner (90 min)

Experience the mysterious and exotic traditional Japanese entertainment as the Maiko dances for you and plays traditional games. Don’t forget to take photos with a genuine Maiko! You can also enjoy the Japanese cuisine.

20:00 ~ 20:30 Tour ends at the Zuihokaku Hotel lobby.

*Notes:
1. Depending on facility circumstances, or number of tour participants, the tour may be led to a different venue. In such a case, as the tour will need to transfer to another venue, the tour end time will be around 8:30pm. Information about a change in venue will be provided on the day during the meet-up so customers are advised to leave enough time for any plans after the tour ends. Please note that the venue may not be designated.
2. This tour can be booked on the same day as the Kyoto Afternoon Tour and the Kyoto 1-Day Tour.
3. Connections to this tour from the Nara Afternoon Tour,  the Kyoto & Nara 1-Day Tour and the Uji & Nara 1-Day Tour are not possible due to time constraints.
4. A Maiko will perform a dance using recorded music, play traditional Japanese-style games with some participants and participate in photo-taking. This experience may not be available to all participants due to time constraints.
5. The meal may be kaiseki cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients, OR Buddhist vegetarian cuisine, OR traditional Japanese Cuisine. The menu will vary depending on the venue on the day. Selections may not be made.
6. Requests for vegetarian meals must be made at least 5 business days prior to the date of the tour. Please note that the soup stock cannot be changed for vegetarians. There is no gluten free option available.
