Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome)
The only structure left standing in the area where the first atomic bomb exploded on 6 August 1945. It has been preserved in the same state as it was after the bombing. This UNESCO World Heritage listed building is the symbol of peace and elimination of atomic weapons around the world.
